Carrying on from questioning the stereotype surrounding a comfortable home with a housewife at the forefront, and having that stereotype ingrained within us today. I created some experimental collages to overload the viewer with found images of stereotypical happy housewives with text like 'I don't pretend to be an ordinary housewife' to act as a buffer; does it mean they are extra special? Or is it trying to fight against the grain? I think in the end these quick pieces ended up looking quite eery, but added to the overall feel of the piece of how outdated the tradition is for a women to have no life outside of the house and weight on every hand and foot of her husband.
